Overview

NEWCLANKWHODIS is an AI-powered token discovery platform that helps users identify quality Clanker tokens on the Base blockchain. We are committed to transparency about what data we collect and how we use it.

Key principle: We don't collect personal information directly from you. Instead, we access publicly available blockchain and Farcaster data to provide our service.

What Data We Store

1. Farcaster Profile Information

When you use our mini app or interact with our platform, we store your publicly available Farcaster profile data:

Farcaster ID (FID)
Username
Display name
Profile picture URL
Follower count

Source: This data is publicly available via the Farcaster protocol and Neynar API.

2. Interaction Data

We track your interactions with the platform to provide core functionality:

Tokens you share (token ID, symbol, score)
Share timestamps
Notification preferences (if enabled)
Filter settings

Purpose: To power the beta leaderboard, track engagement for rewards, and deliver notifications about qualifying tokens.

3. Email Addresses (Waitlist Only)

If you join our waitlist, we collect:

Email address
Sign-up timestamp
Source (mini app vs web)

Purpose: To notify you when new features launch or when you gain access to the platform.

What We DON'T Collect

How We Use Your Data

Core Platform Functionality

We use your FID and profile data to personalize your experience, display your activity in the leaderboard, and attribute shares to your account.

Notifications

If you enable notifications, we use your notification token (provided by Farcaster) to send alerts about tokens matching your criteria. You can disable this anytime.

Reward Distribution

We use engagement data (shares, activity) to determine eligibility for $WHODIS token airdrops and rewards during beta testing and launch events.

Platform Improvement

We analyze aggregate usage patterns (not individual behavior) to improve our AI scoring, add features, and optimize performance.

Data Storage & Security

Where We Store Data

All data is stored securely in Supabase (PostgreSQL database) with industry-standard encryption:

Encrypted at rest and in transit (TLS/SSL)
Regular automated backups
Row-level security policies
Access restricted to service role keys

How Long We Keep It

Share tracking data: Until beta competition ends + 90 days for reward distribution
Notification preferences: Until you disable notifications or delete your data
Waitlist emails: Until you request removal or we complete the launch

We use the following third-party services to operate the platform:

Alchemy API

Provides blockchain RPC access for Base network interactions and smart contract queries. No personal data is shared. Alchemy Privacy Policy

Supabase

Your Rights

You have the following rights regarding your data:

Request a copy of all data we store about you

Deletion

Request complete removal of your data from our systems

Disable notifications or stop using the platform anytime

Important Note: Blockchain Transparency

While we can delete data from our database, please understand that any on-chain activity (wallet transactions, token swaps) is permanently recorded on the Base blockchain and cannot be deleted. Similarly, Farcaster casts and interactions are publicly visible on the Farcaster protocol. We have no control over data stored on these decentralized networks.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect the most recent changes. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Significant changes will be announced via our Farcaster channel.
